Descrição:
É um extrato oleoso fitocomplexo da Bixa orellana L. (Urucum), rico em geranilgeraniol e delta-tocotrienol, com alta biodisponibilidade e potente ação no sistema musculoesquelético, atuando como um modulador na expressão de alguns genes de forma eficiente.
Informação:
Dentre suas atividades, destaca-se seu papel como antioxidante, neuroprotetor, hipocolesterolêmico, anticancerígeno, anti-inflamatório e sobre a modulação óssea.
Desempenha também papel importante na diminuição da inflamação por supressão da ativação de NF-KB e mRNA e da expressão de seus genes-alvo pró-inflamatórios, além de regular negativamente a ativação da enzima caspase-1, interleucinas inflamatórias e modular a atividade dos osteoclastos induzida por RANKL.
